In my humble opinion (sometimes ;-) the social graph implemented as an overlay on embeddable video graphics will radically change how we find, research, watch and share video content. The byproduct of this sharing and viewing - the reviews, ratings, and comments about content or products in the video - will become more relevant since you get the information from your own network.
We often describe a video platform as a media endpoint - imagine being able to intelligently scatter these endpoints across the web and reconnect the dots through the relationships that viewers bring with them wherever they travel.
That is the power of the graph.
